The Herefordshire Council Licensing Department will not issue a Premises Licence without the application going before a full committee meeting. They will not hold the meeting until the 10th of August. The licensing committee might then grant the license, grant the license with conditions or refuse the application. This is four days before we are due to open the show. I cannot borrow the £16,000 needed for the advance deposits that need to be paid between the 1st and the 7th of August given this problem.

Without this show I cannot clear the company debts caused by the 2008 cancellations. The company is therefore in breach of company law. I have asked the company accountant to start the process of bankrupting the company. I apologise to all those people who have lost money because of this decision.
